Cooper's Daily Schedule
- Wakes up between 6:30–7:30am — get him up, change him, then feed him breakfast (see feeding below).
- Let him play as we do things around the house, then head to daycare (see School for drop-off/pick-up times).
- Naps around 12–2pm, could go longer — if he sleeps more than 3.5 hours, go ahead and wake him up.
- Play as long as you can keep him up after school.
- Dinner.
- Then start the bedtime routine around 6:30–7, but go by how he's acting.
School
- Needs to be at daycare by 8am — leave the house by 7:40.
- No white clothes or onesies with feet to school.
- No need to send him with any food or bottles.
- Earliest pick up is 3pm, latest is 6pm — we usually get him around 4:30–5pm.
- Bring home any artwork from his folder on Friday.
- If they change him at school, send a new outfit the next day.
Feeding
- He'll eat anything that you are eating (for the most part).
- He loves fig bars, crackers, goldfish, cheese (break it up into small pieces), and pouches.
- If he can reach it in the pantry, he can eat it.
- Breakfast is milk in his sippy cup and a fig bar — he'll bring them to you.
- For juice or water during the day, any of his cups is fine — just make sure he's drinking and staying hydrated.
Diapers & Potty
- He's in diapers at home.
- He may come home from daycare in a pull-up — that's fine, no need to change him back.
- He might ask to sit on his potty — let him if he wants to try.
Bedtime
- Starts around 6:30–7pm, but go by how he's acting — you'll know when he's ready for bed.
- He loves the bath and will play for a while; if he drains the water or throws all the toys out, bathtime is done! There are bubbles if he wants, he knows where to find them! (They look like dish soap pods)
- He sleeps in real pajamas now (mix of types) with his sleep sack.
- Read two books.
- Lay down with the sound machine — if it isn't already on, touch the top of it, but it turns on at 7pm.
- Once his sippy cup of milk is done he'll want to get in his crib — he'll make it clear. He can have milk in his crib.
- Paci and lovey when you read with him.
Where Stuff Is
- Diapers — bottom right drawer.
- Burp cloths — bottom left drawer.
- His silverware — skinny drawer to the left of the dishwasher.
- His dishes — above the knife block.
- Paci — in his bed.
- His clothes — both bottom racks should fit him currently.
- Running stroller and normal stroller are both in the garage.
Dogs (Hazel & Tank)
- Dogs eat breakfast whenever you wake up; they'll want to go outside first thing.
- Hazel gets 1/4 tab of prednisone Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings in her bowl of food — ask where the meds are kept.
- Dogs eat dinner at 6:30ish; this can also be after you get Cooper down.
- Pull the lever to make the bowl come out — it will prefill. Hazel on the left, Tank on the right.
- Make sure the water bowl downstairs and upstairs is full before bed. You can leave the gate open when you go to bed; Hazel likes to wander.
- If Hazel doesn't start eating after a little coaxing, put it away so Tank doesn't eat it.
- Hazel and Tank get a bucket-shaped treat to the left of the TV, in the small shelf of the bookcase, after you let them out before bed. They'll come sit by the tv and wait patiently.
- Keep the dog gate shut if Cooper is home/awake.
Around the House
- Walks all over the place.
- Loves the patio/outside. Can play in his house under the patio or in the rock pit.
- Loves puppy kisses.
- Yes, he can watch TV if you want. (amazon- Stinky and Dirty)
- Also loves to go on walks if the weather is nice, or to swing by the back driveway.
- Trash is picked up Wednesday, early — take it up Tuesday night.
Church (Sundays)
- He goes to his class during the service — that's just how it is, not optional.
- He's in the 2/3s class, called "Walkers" (they know him well!).
- Check in on the iPad with Hayden's phone number.
- Make sure you get all the labels that print at the iPad — one for him, one for his bag, then your pickup ticket.
